Betty H. Fang

 The Harbour School (THS)

Betty is dedicated to cultivating a passion for learning in her students and equipping them with essential skills for the 21st-century workforce. Her commitment to global understanding and inclusivity ensures that every student feels valued in a safe, supportive educational environment.

Celebrating neurodiversity, Betty creates a student-centered and experiential learning space that honors the unique strengths of all individuals. Her focus on experiential education, particularly through methodologies like design thinking, provides hands-on opportunities that foster problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

​

Through these efforts, Betty aims to deliver an outstanding educational experience that not only prepares students for a rapidly evolving world but also equips them with the critical skills necessary for lifelong success.
 

Dr. Catherine So

 The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

Prof. Catherine So received her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Chicago in 2007. Then she took up the Assistant Professor Position at the National University of Singapore in 2007 and joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. She is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests lie in language and gesture development of both typically and atypically developing children and intervention for autistic children and their families. She has published over 65 journal articles and found a charitable organization that solely provides robot-based intervention in Hong Kong. Her research, teaching, and services have received local and international recognition.

Ms. Clarise Chen

The Children's Institute of Hong Kong 

Clarise Chen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master of Education from CUHK. With over a decade of experience across Greater China, she has worked as an educator and trainer in diverse settings. Her expertise includes curriculum design, classroom teaching, parent and teacher training, and behavioral intervention. Clarise currently serves as the Supervisor of Transition and Educational Support at the Children's Institute of Hong Kong, providing services to secondary students at the Harbour School. She also teaches accredited QABA board-approved courses to QBA candidates. Clarise is a board member of the SENIA HK Chapter. In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi and mystery novels and exploring recent tech updates.

Ms. Kimberley Fung

Head of Student Support Services at Chinese International School

Kimberley is currently the Head of Student Support at Chinese International School, and has worked in inclusive schools in Hong Kong for over a decade. Prior to this, she worked in NGOs in Hong Kong serving adults and children with learning differences. She serves on the Board of the ISLES (International School Leaders of Educational Support) where she advocates for high quality student support at the systems level in international schools. As an autism sibling, her advocacy for the neurodivergent child has been an embedded part of her identity for as long as she can remember! In her spare time, she is an amateur photographer, a keen (vegetarian) foodie, and wannabe surfer.

Dr. Tim Trodd

Dr. Tim Trodd is founding partner and chairman of OT&P Healthcare and a specialist in Family Medicine. He is also a Fellow of The Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and a Functional Medicine practitioner.
 
Over the past 20 years Tim has used Functional Medicine to assess and treat more than two thousand children with ASD. This approach enhances the effectiveness of other therapies and helps children to reach their full potential.

Liezel Kemp

Liezel Kemp is a dedicated educator and advocate for neurodiversity-affirming practices. She currently works as an Early Years Classroom Teacher for students with high support needs at the Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (ESF) in Hong Kong. Liezel holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Support and has a background in counselling and psychometry, enabling her to bridge the gap between clinical therapy and classroom practice.


She is a Certified AutPlay Therapy Provider and an Accredited Gestalt Play Therapist, utilising play-based, trauma-informed, and somatic storytelling techniques to promote student well-being. Liezel is passionate about promoting mental health and fostering a sense of belonging within the curriculum. Guided by the principle that inclusion means ensuring every voice is truly heard, she empowers colleagues and parents to create environments where every neurodivergent student can thrive.

May Henderson

May is a UK-trained Speech and Language Therapist (MSc) with extensive experience supporting neurodivergent students across various settings in both the UK and Asia. Dedicated to a neuro-affirming approach, she prioritises honouring each student’s unique communication style. She is DIRfloortime trained and integrates a deep understanding of Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) to provide tailored, strengths-based support for language development. Her goal is to create inclusive environments where every learner feels understood and empowered to thrive. She is deeply committed to empowering parents, providing them with the tools and confidence to nurture their child's unique communication and social
interaction at home.

 

Reshma Chugh

Reshma is a couples counsellor dedicated to helping partners build resilient, high connection relationships.  While working with a broad range of couples to navigate communication and intimacy, Reshma also brings a specialized focus to those raising neurodivergent children.
 
In a world where parenting demands can often push a relationship into “survival mode”, Reshma helps couples shift from being mere co-parents or roommates back to being a unified team.  Her approach focuses on strengthening the emotional foundation between partners, bridging gaps in coping styles, and healing caregiver burnout.  By prioritizing the health of the partnership, Reshma empowers couples to navigate life’s complexities with greater intimacy, ensuring they have the strength to thrive both as individuals and as a team.
