The Children’s Institute of Hong Kong (TCI) has got a Chinese name now! It’s called “樂融兒童特殊教育”. “樂” means happy, it also means “pleased to”. “融” means “happy” or “to integrate”. “兒童特殊教育” means “special education for children”. TCI provides special education service to help children with disabilities to become children with abilities, so that it is possible for them to be happily integrated into the school (as well as mainstream school), into their families and into the community. Our teachers are happy and pleased to help these children to achieve this goal.
